Hydrogen Cell Experiment Pays Off

On that bright blue morning, a hydrogen cell experiment paid off for the German Aerospace Center. The Antares DLR H-2, a motor glider completely fueled by hydrogen fuel cells, took off under its own power into the bright, blue sky above Hamburg Airport and flew its way into the history books.

According to China Daily, China will aim for producing 10% of its energy needs from sustainable sources by 2010, 15% by 2020. Some government officials say that China will hit 20% renewable energy use by 2020. Catchy slogan in there somewhere – 20% by 2020, hm?
